Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is intended to correct issues that arise, such as cavities, broken or lost teeth, and ensuring your mouth is both healthy and able to function properly. We can use fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, or dentures to improve the health, function and aesthetics of your smile.

Restorative dentistry is also referred to as prosthodontics. But no matter which term you use, the goal is the same – to restore the function of your teeth and preserve natural teeth to the extent possible.

Restorative dentistry includes:
  • Fillings to treat cavities
  • Crowns to strengthen and protect your tooth
  • Bridges and dental implants to restore a missing tooth
  • Dentures to restore multiple teeth or an entire mouth of teeth

Restorative dentistry strives to ensure your mouth is healthy and functions properly. Our goal is to first improve health and function, and many times in that process, we can improve the overall look of a patient’s smile.
